How we use it
We use customer details to run the storefront, submit enquiries, prepare checkout details, coordinate fulfillment, and follow up on order or support issues. Seller and operator teams may also use the information to confirm pickup or delivery arrangements.
Marketplace systems
Plants Direct currently relies on Medusa / Mercur marketplace services for cart, checkout, authentication, and enquiry handling. Some operational follow-up may still happen through internal support workflows while dedicated customer order tracking is being expanded.
Marketing and communications
We do not describe any broad marketing automation or newsletter workflow in the current website experience. If that changes, we will update this page to explain how consent, subscriptions, and contact preferences are handled.
Security and retention
We only ask for information that is necessary to support orders, enquiries, and customer service. Records may be retained in marketplace systems for operational, support, fraud prevention, and audit reasons while the platform continues to mature.
